Art and storytelling possess an incredible power to transcend the perceived differences between us. Whether it is through a song, poem, dance, photography or a film, creative mediums move us in a unique way that challenges our belief systems.

Motion Creative’s mission is to support programming that encourages community-building and educational opportunities between creatives and the entertainment industry with a focus on underserved communities.

Livia Piomelli

Co-Founder/Secretary

Livia works day-to-day with Maison Arts songwriters, producers and artists, creating collaborative opportunities, signing new talent, overseeing operations, as well as reviewing and critiquing their new works. Previous to working at Maison, Livia was the Director of A&R at Big Noise Music Group, where she worked alongside & signed Fridayy (Chris Brown, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, Lil Baby), Stolar (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, G-Eazy), John Feldmann (Avril Lavigne, Mod Sun), Th3ory (Wale, 6lack, Chris Brown, Tory Lanez), and PJ Bianco (ARIZONA, Jonas Brothers, Fifth Harmony), among others. Prior to Big Noise, Livia was the A&R Manager at Arthouse Entertainment, home of artists and writers, Jon Bellion and Kara Dioguardi. She was integrally involved in all facets of the company’s operations, including A&R, marketing, management and business affairs. There she assisted in the development of writers and producers, Ingrid Andress (Charli XCX, Matoma, Why Don’t We), Feli Ferraro (Normani, Chris Brown), Rabitt (Andy Grammer, Eric Nam), Pete Nappi (30 Seconds To Mars, Shinedown), and Mark Holman (Florida Georgia Line).

Jess Furman

CFO, Co-Founder

Jess has been named as one of Billboard Magazine’s Top-Industry Shaping Executives of 2020. In addition to serving as the VP of Synch Strategy for all of Big Noise Music Group and Sr. Creative Director of Sound Revolver, Jess’ advocacy work includes: Serving on the Board of Directors for songwriter advocacy organization SONA (Finance committee & Operations Committee co-chair); and Co-Executive Director and founder of the SSAF grant fund program, founded in May of 2020 to provide financial aid to songwriters experiencing hardships due to COVID-19 related issues. Jess’ experience in the music industry has garnered over 100+ major license placements and custom music projects. In the film industry, Jess’ marketing campaign for the non-profit documentary Happy: The Movie sky-rocketed the film to #1 on iTunes, in addition to her role as raising all the finishing funds for the film. As Motion Creative’s President, Jess is focused on building larger strategic partnerships with networks, label groups, and brands to support major programming related to film and music.

Taylor Marcus

Impact Lead, GTM Expert

Taylor is the General Manager at a VC-backed seed stage startup called Crate and has 20 years experience at Google, YouTube, and Instagram.

Since 2010, Taylor has been invested in and passionate about the digital creator economy and ecosystem, including YouTube and Instagram creators.

A mix of right and left brain, Taylor’s DNA is both poet and quant. She earned her MBA at Berkeley Haas, and her inner self will always be an “art school kid” after graduating from an arts high school.

Brian Blatz, Esq.

Legal, Senior Counsel

Brian W. Blatz is a seasoned executive, general counsel and senior-level attorney with extensive experience in the live event, social media, music, and entertainment industries along with organizing and sitting on the board of various new business ventures. Of note, he was responsible for overseeing live internationally televised concerts and sporting events with performances by leading musical acts and world class athletes included negotiating and drafting artist, athlete, vendor, location, production, insurance and equipment rental agreements. In addition, he have been responsible for overseeing promotion, marketing, talent appearance and sponsorship efforts to promote events through negotiating and drafting agreements with leading social media influencers and large international brands. He also has broad proficiency in the music industry including drafting and negotiating license agreements with artists, labels and publishers across a variety of industries including AI, Web3/virtual, fitness technology, film and social media platforms. He has organized and sits on the board of a variety of new start-up ventures in the music and health care technology spaces. Brian was most recently Senior Counsel and Granderson Des Rocher. Prior to GDR, he was general counsel at Triller, an international video-sharing social networking service. Brian received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Arielle Tindel

Project Manager

Arielle Tindel is an A&R at Maison Arts, where she works day to day with songwriters, artists, and producers including Suki Waterhouse, Medasin (Tai Verdes, Surfaces, Duckwrth, Tkay Maidza), John Mark Nelson (Devon Cole, Trousdale, Suki Waterhouse, Julia Pratt ft. Mt. Joy), Chelsea Balan, and more. Previous to joining the Maison Arts team, Arielle spent 3 years as A&R Manager/Creative Coordinator at Brill Building and label arm We Are: The Guard. From developing the next generation of writers like Natalie Sharata and Sofia Kay (TXT, Girls’ Generation), to working with Big Freedia (artist, writer/sampled on “BREAK MY SOUL”), Noah Conrad (Ashe, LANY, Tai Verdes), Jake Torrey (Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth), and Bram Inscore (Troye Sivan, Claud, Moses Sumney), Arielle worked with a wide range of talent. On the label side, she signed releases with artists Shamir and fanclubwallet, and coordinated releases from start to finish with Lola Blanc, MXMS, and more. Arielle is most excited by discovering new music and connecting people. Outside of music, she enjoys baking and playing soccer.
