Motion Creative is a California nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status pending founded by music industry executives Jess Furman, Livia Piomelli, Nick Gross, and Dani Oliva.
With diverse experience in sync, A&R, business enterprise, and law, the founders formed Motion Creative in January 2020 to help bring musicians, songwriters, and producers from underserved populations to the forefront and to support other like-minded initiatives in the arts.
Motion Creative’s LGBTQ+ events under the moniker “Out Sessions”, have been covered in Billboard. Jordy’s song “Is It Love?” written at the camp, was featured in TIME Magazine. Motion Creative has programmed music for Outfest Fusion festival, and has organized education Q&A webinars to benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund with Grammy winning special guests and nominees Dua Lipa, Sarah Hudson, Dayyon Alexander, Coffee, Sabrina Carpenter, Pink Sweat$, and more.
